That their will be up's and down's through the story. Fences serve as blocks to try to keep some things to yourself and keep everyone else blocked out. People put fences in their yard to keep the dog in and to seprate their yard from the outside.
Brittney R. Base on the title Fences I believe that the story is based on someone life being fix up. A fence takes a while to built up just like someone life. You got to know the style you want and more and its just like life. A literally fence is when you actualy built a fence to block people from coming in your property if they are not allow and a figuratively fence is when you block people out of your life mentally and want to be by yourself. Jamie(not Jammie)!!! My predictions about the story "FENCES" is about the relationships between family members and what they had in life and others of what they want to do in life. But in order to do it there is alot of obstacles you have to face getting to where you want to be.
A literally fence is when you keep people from surrounding your property. Figuratively fences is when you want to be personally by yourself not be bubbbled by other people.
Based on the title the term fences serves as as a symbol of how one has trials that they go through whether they are good or bad, they really don't want others input on their life,so therfore this fence will keep those intruders from intefering with that person's life

DARREN}I THINK THAT FENCES MEANS THAT THERE WOULD BE ALOT OF OBSTACLES IN THERE WAY BUT, LIKE PEOPLE DO WITH FENCES THEY JUST GET OVER THAT SITUATION.
